I have decided it is time to stop buying relatively cheap, over marketed aluminium non stick pans and treat myself to the best pans I can find.

After much in-depth research and scouring various sources I decided on the Falk range of copper cookware.

They are made in Belgium, are expensive and in the 'premier league' of copper cookware.

My 1st order has just arrived and it is a simply stunning pan! I took advantage of the Falk 'try me' offer and bought an 18" Saucier Pan.

It is reassuringly heavy, well balanced in the hand and looks very well made indeed. That said it should be for the price.

I fully intend to take proper, considered care of each pan that I will buy and look forward to a lifetime of fuss free cooking using Falk cookware.

Be aware that the pans do not come in premium packaging and mine was a 'whisker away' from being damaged during transit due to the frankly amateurish and poor quality packaging. One star removed as a result.

Even cleaning them afterwards, is a real pleasure.....To see them restore easily to their original shiny condition ( If you prefer to keep them that way ) is really quite therapeutic.
